Free and open source. Your guests only need a browser and the link you send.

Requirements

A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later) on macOS 14 Sonoma or later.
A free Tailscale account if guests join from other devices. The app sets it up with you.
Free disk space for recordings. The app shows roughly how many hours you have left.
Guests: a recent Chrome (best), Safari or Firefox, on a computer or an iPhone.

Everything else, including the media tools used for exports, is inside the app. You don't need Homebrew, Go or Node.js.

Open the disk image
Drag p2p.video into Applications and open it. It appears in your menu bar.
Connect Tailscale
The setup checks for Tailscale and helps you sign in. It shows each command before it runs.
Choose how guests join
Private links work for people on your Tailscale network. A public link lets anyone with the link ask to join from a browser. You can turn it off any time.
Run the test call
A two-minute check of your camera, microphone, disk and connection.
Start a meeting
Copy the link, send it, let people in from the waiting room, and press record when you're ready.
